The Talents Day Celebration was organized at SUM College of Teacher Education (SUMCTE), Mamba, on the morning of 27 July 2026. The programme provided a vibrant platform for student teachers to showcase their artistic talents, creativity, and cultural skills.

The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Rosa M. C., Principal, SUMCTE, who addressed the gathering with an inspiring inaugural speech. In her message, she encouraged students to actively participate in extracurricular activities, emphasizing that such events help develop confidence, teamwork, leadership, and overall personality.

The celebration featured a variety of cultural performances by the students, including group dance, cinematic dance, semi-classical dance, solo songs, skits, and several other entertaining programmes. Each performance reflected the enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication of the participants, making the event lively and enjoyable for everyone present.

A noteworthy aspect of the programme was that the students themselves anchored and coordinated the entire event. Their efficient planning, stage management, and confident compering ensured the smooth conduct of the programme from beginning to end.

The Talents Day celebration concluded on a joyful note, leaving the audience with memorable performances and reinforcing the importance of cultural activities in fostering creativity, confidence, and unity among future teachers. Ms.Heba Miss coordinated the whole event.
