As part of the Gandhi Jayanti Week celebrations, various programmes were organized from 2 October to 8 October to commemorate the life, ideals, and contributions of Mahatma Gandhi. The activities aimed to promote cleanliness, truth, non-violence, and the relevance of Gandhian philosophy in contemporary society.

On the evening of 6 October, a cleaning drive was organized with the assistance of the National Service Scheme (NSS). Students actively participated in the initiative, demonstrating their commitment to cleanliness, social responsibility, and community service. On the same day, a special assembly was conducted to discuss Gandhian thoughts and their relevance in the present era. The programme highlighted Gandhi’s principles of truth, non-violence, simplicity, equality, and peaceful coexistence. Dr. Rosa shared her comments on the topic, encouraging students to reflect on the significance of Gandhian values in addressing contemporary social challenges.

On the evening of 7 October, a book review programme was organized based on Mahatma Gandhi’s autobiography, The Story of My Experiments with Truth. Several students participated enthusiastically and shared their views and reflections on the book. They discussed Gandhi’s experiences, his commitment to truth, his personal struggles, and the lessons that can be drawn from his life.
