One Shoot One Glory – Penalty Shootout Competition

The Department of Physical Education, SUM College of Teacher Education (SUMCTE), organized “One Shoot One Glory,” a penalty shootout competition as part of the Football World Cup celebrations on 15 June at 2.00 p.m.

The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Rosa MC, Principal SUMCTE who officially opened the competition by taking the ceremonial first kick. Mr. Sachin, Physical Education Teacher, welcomed the gathering and highlighted the importance of sports in promoting teamwork, discipline, and physical fitness among students. Mr. Abdulla T.P., Secretary, SUMCTE, felicitated the programme and encouraged students to actively participate in sporting activities.

Students from three groups enthusiastically took part in the penalty shootout competition. The event witnessed great excitement and sportsmanship as participants showcased their football skills. After a series of competitive rounds, Sreenand and Ira Mashood emerged as the winners of the shootout competition.

The event was marked by active participation from all teachers and students, making it a memorable and enjoyable occasion. The competition successfully fostered a spirit of unity, healthy competition, and enthusiasm for sports among the college community.
