



The SUM College of Teacher Education successfully organized a Learning Aid Exhibition on 02 December 2025, showcasing a wide range of instructional materials and innovative teaching models developed by the B.Ed trainees. The event aimed to promote creative pedagogy, hands-on learning, and meaningful interaction between teacher trainees and school students.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. C. V. Jayasree, who addressed the gathering with insightful remarks on the significance of learner-centered teaching aids in contemporary education. Following the inauguration, Mr. T. P. Abdulla Master and Manager C. Ahammedkutty Master offered their felicitations. Both emphasized the role of experiential learning and appreciated the efforts of the trainees in preparing effective and imaginative models.
Students from Narikodu UP School and Mowancheri UP School visited the exhibition and actively engaged with the displays. They explored various subject-based models, experiments, charts, and interactive teaching tools prepared by the B.Ed trainees. The visiting students expressed great enthusiasm and curiosity, making the exhibition environment lively and educational.
To ensure the smooth conduct of the event, Mr. Dvakarn P.E. and Dr. Krishnakumar provided valuable assistance and support throughout the program. Their guidance helped the trainees present their models more effectively.
The B.Ed trainees demonstrated their teaching aids with confidence, offering clear explanations, demonstrations, and live experiments. Their ability to simplify complex concepts and present them through engaging resources was appreciated by both faculty and visitors.
A highlight of the program was the interaction session, which turned out to be a vibrant and enriching experience. The school children eagerly asked questions, provided feedback, and actively participated in discussions related to the exhibited models. Notably, the children extended special support and warm appreciation to Mr. Rammess, an alumnus from Narikode UP School, who was present during the event.
Overall, the Learning Aid Exhibition was a resounding success, fulfilling its objective of fostering creativity, collaboration, and meaningful educational exchange. The event not only showcased the skills of the B.Ed trainees but also provided a valuable learning experience for the visiting students.
