The International Youth Day was celebrated on 12th August 2025 at the SUM College auditorium with great enthusiasm. As part of the celebration, a special session on Election Literacy was conducted to raise awareness among students about the democratic process.
Mr. Krishnakumar E.P. led the session and provided a detailed explanation of the election process in India. He highlighted the importance of youth participation in democracy and guided students on how to register in the voters’ list, along with the necessary procedures involved.
Dr. C.V. Jaasree also addressed the gathering and interacted with the students. She clarified various doubts raised by the attendees, ensuring a better understanding of the electoral system.
The event was informative and inspired the youth to become active participants in the democratic process.
