Report on FIFA World Cup Quiz Competition

A FIFA World Cup Quiz Competition was conducted on 25 June 2026 in the afternoon with the objective of enhancing students’ knowledge about the FIFA World Cup and promoting interest in sports and global football events.

The programme commenced with an informative session led by Mr. Sachin Ellias, Physical Education Teacher, who provided detailed instructions regarding the quiz manual and explained the rules and procedures of the competition. The quiz was effectively coordinated by Anugrah P. V., ensuring the smooth conduct of all activities.

Dr. Rosa M. C., Principal of SUMCTE, addressed the gathering and spoke about the rich history of the FIFA World Cup. Her inspiring speech highlighted the significance of sports in fostering unity, discipline, and international understanding. She encouraged students to actively participate in sports-related activities and expand their knowledge beyond the classroom.
