


The Women’s Day celebration was observed on 9th March at the Multimedia Hall of SUM College with great enthusiasm and participation from faculty members and students. The program was organized to recognize the achievements of women and to reflect on their contributions to society.
The function began with a warm welcome to the dignitaries and participants. Mr. Divakarn P.E. addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of celebrating Women’s Day and acknowledging the role of women in social, educational, and professional fields.
The session was formally inaugurated by Dr. Smitha Panniyan, who delivered an inspiring inaugural address. In her speech, she shared valuable thoughts on the significance of Women’s Day and emphasized the need to empower women through education, equality, and opportunities.
As part of the celebration, Ms. Valsala V.V. and Dr. Smitha Panniyan were honored in recognition of their contributions. The felicitation was carried out by Dr. Krishnakumar E.P. and Ms. Praseetha K., who appreciated the dedication and achievements of the awardees.
