Report on One-Day Art Education Programme
A one-day Art Education Programme was conducted on 23 January 2026 in the afternoon as part of the Students’ Art and Dream Workshop. The programme aimed to enhance students’ understanding and appreciation of music and performing arts.
The session was led by the renowned playback singer Mr. Dilip E., who interacted enthusiastically with the students. During the programme, Mr. Dilip E. introduced the students to the fundamental concepts of Raga, Tala, and Laya, explaining their importance in Indian music. The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating and engaging in musical discussions.
Both the students and Mr. Dilip E. shared different songs in various versions, which enriched the learning experience and inspired the students to explore creativity in music. The lively interaction helped students gain practical insights into musical expression and performance techniques.
The programme was chaired by Dr. C. V. Jayasree, whose presence added value and encouragement to the event. The session concluded on a motivating note, leaving the students inspired and more aware of the artistic dimensions of music.
