




Students of SUM College of Teacher Education actively participated in the University-level NSS programme titled “Samavdhikkam Laharikethire” (To Talk Against Drugs) organized by NSS, Kannur University. The event aimed to create awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to encourage youth to stand firmly against its usage.
Our NSS volunteers, including Ms. Sneha Rajeev and Ms. Anusree E, took part in the programme and contributed enthusiastically to the discussions and activities.
The session was led by Mr. Sujith V, NSS Programme Officer, who delivered an impactful message on the importance of drug-free living. His talk emphasized the need for collective responsibility among students to promote a healthy and disciplined society.
Overall, the programme was inspiring, informative, and highly effective, leaving a strong impression on all participants and reinforcing the commitment of NSS volunteers to fight against drug abuse.
