A library digitalization program was successfully conducted on 12th July 2025 at Ancharakkandy School, marking a significant step towards enhancing access to educational resources through technology. The initiative was led by the students of SUM College of Teacher Education, under the able guidance and support of Dr. Sajan, Assistant Professor at NSS College, Ottapalam.
The program aimed at converting the school’s vast collection of physical books into digital format, thereby preserving them and making them more accessible to students and staff. This initiative not only enriched the school’s learning environment but also served as a valuable learning experience for the teacher education students involved, giving them practical exposure to digital tools and educational technology in action.
The school authorities expressed their gratitude to SUM College of Teacher Education and Dr. Sajan for their commendable contribution to the academic development of the institution.
