SUM College of Teacher Education successfully conducted a school induction program on 30th June 2025 at 8:00 PM via Google Meet. The session was organized to orient and coordinate with the principals of various practice teaching schools regarding the upcoming practice teaching program.
Mr. Divakaran P.E., Assistant Professor in Physical Education, and Dr. C.V. Jayasree delivered insightful talks outlining the objectives, methodology, and expectations of the practice teaching phase. They emphasized the importance of collaboration between the teacher education institution and the practice schools to ensure meaningful learning experiences for student-teachers.
Principals from the participating schools were present and actively engaged in the discussion. They shared details about the available facilities in their respective institutions and specified the duration and schedule for practice teaching. Their inputs were instrumental in finalizing the logistics and aligning the academic expectations of both institutions.
The session concluded with a mutual understanding and a collective commitment to providing a supportive environment for the trainee teachers.
