Introduction
The United Nations General Assembly founded World Environment Day in 1972 to increase public awareness of environmental challenges and encourage action. It has since grown to be the largest global venue for environmental advocacy and is observed every year on June 5.

Highlight of the Programme
We conducted an intercollegiate Quiz competition for BEd. students and the winners are Mis . Swathi Krishna from Crescent B.Ed. college received first prize and Athira P V from Mahathma college of Education received second prize and Mis Surya S from Kannur Salafi B.Ed college received third.
Conclusion
The condition of our environment is declining day by day because of pollution and global warming.
