The Freshers’ Day celebration at SUM College was held on 19th September 2025 at the college auditorium. The event was organized by the 2024–2026 batch to warmly welcome the incoming 2025–2027 batch. The program was conducted under the able leadership of the SUM College Student Union.
The session was formally inaugurated by Mr. Diljith EP, Chairman of the College Union, who led the event with enthusiasm and inclusivity. Mr. Divakaran PE addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance of such events in fostering a sense of belonging and camaraderie among students.
Distinguished faculty members including Mr. Krishnakumar EP, Mr. George Joseph, and Ms. Praseetha P also shared a few words. They welcomed the new batch and encouraged them to make the most of their academic and extracurricular journey at SUM College.
The event was marked by joyful interactions, cultural performances, and a spirit of togetherness, making it a memorable start for the freshers.
