Report on Participation in Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2027 Quiz

Introduction

The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of SUM College of Teacher Education, affiliated with Kannur University, actively encouraged its students to participate in the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2027 Quiz Mass Attempt. The programme was organized as an initiative to engage young people in the vision of a developed India and to provide them with an opportunity to express their ideas, enhance their knowledge, and develop leadership qualities.

The event was promoted under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, in association with the National Service Scheme (NSS) and MY Bharat.

Details of the Programme

The VBYLD 2027 Quiz was designed as a “Half an Hour” quiz mass attempt, encouraging young people to participate collectively and demonstrate their knowledge and awareness. The poster associated with the programme indicated 7 September 2026 as the date of the quiz participation.

The NSS Unit of SUM College of Teacher Education motivated and facilitated its students to take part in this national-level youth engagement initiative. The students enthusiastically responded to the programme and participated in the quiz.

Student Participation

A considerable number of students from SUM College of Teacher Education participated in the VBYLD 2027 Quiz. The activity provided the students with an opportunity to improve their general awareness and learn more about India’s development, youth participation, leadership, innovation, and the vision of a developed India.

The students participated in the online quiz with enthusiasm and completed the quiz within the stipulated time. Their participation demonstrated their willingness to engage in activities beyond the regular academic curriculum and to contribute to programmes focusing on youth development and nation-building.

Achievement of Students

The participation of the students resulted in a notable achievement for the college. A total of 38 students successfully received certificates for their participation in the VBYLD 2027 Quiz programme.

The certificates served as recognition of the students’ active involvement in the programme and encouraged them to participate in similar national initiatives in the future. The achievement also reflected the effectiveness of the NSS Unit in motivating students to engage in socially and nationally relevant programmes.

The NSS Unit of SUM College of Teacher Education played an important role in creating awareness about the programme and motivating students to participate. The initiative demonstrated the commitment of the NSS Unit to providing students with opportunities for intellectual development, social awareness, leadership development, and participation in programmes of national importance.

The successful participation of the students and the receipt of 38 certificates were a matter of encouragement for the NSS Unit and the institution.
