A Basic Life Support (BLS) program was conducted at SUM College of Teacher Education with the support of Baby Memorial Hospital, Chala, Kannur on 12/12/2025 at 10.00 a.m. in the college auditorium. The program began with a warm welcome and introductory address by Dr. C. V. Jayasree.
Mr. Pramod K, paramedical staff from Baby Memorial Hospital, introduced the Basic Life Support program and explained its importance, applications, and relevance in handling emergency situations. A practical demonstration on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and emergency management was conducted by Ms. Shichy Mohan and Ms. Anagha, providing hands-on insights to the participants.
The program was informative and engaging, enhancing awareness and practical knowledge on life-saving techniques among the attendees.
