An add-on course for the inmates of SUM College of Teacher Education was conducted from 17 November 2025 to 19 November 2025. The sessions were led by Mr. Gopinath K, a veteran language communicator known for his expertise in developing communicative skills in English. Students of the 2024–26 batch also actively participated in the programme.
The inaugural session was graced by Dr. C.V. Jayasree, who delivered the inaugural address, highlighting the importance of effective communication for future educators. The programme was attended by Mr. George Joseph, Mr. Sunnesh K, and other faculty members who extended their support and encouragement.
During the three-day course, Mr. Gopinath delivered an engaging and insightful series of lectures on Communicative English, focusing on practical strategies to improve language fluency, confidence, and classroom communication. His sessions were well-received and appreciated for their clarity and effectiveness.
The add-on course proved to be highly beneficial for the participants, offering them valuable exposure and skill enhancement. The event concluded on a positive note, marking three days of productive learning and meaningful interaction.
