
The NSS 100 Unit of SUM College of Teacher Education actively participated in the Kannur University NSS Programme – Bharanabasha Malayalam held on November 1, 2025. More than nine NSS volunteers from the college took part in the event with great enthusiasm.
As part of the programme, a colourful procession was organized, highlighting the richness and cultural heritage of the Malayalam language. NSS volunteers marched with slogans and placards promoting the significance of Bharanabasha Malayalam. Following the procession, a vibrant dance competition was conducted at Kannur University, where participants showcased cultural performances reflecting Malayalam traditions.
The event provided the volunteers an opportunity to deepen their understanding of Malayalam culture and language, while also strengthening their sense of community participation. The programme concluded successfully with active involvement from all participants.
