The College Day celebration and Magazine Release of SUM College of Teacher Education was held on 8th April 2025 with great enthusiasm and participation. The event was graced by renowned cinema artist Mr. Renjith Vengodan, who was the chief guest for the day. He officially inaugurated the College Day celebrations and released the college magazine.
During his address, Mr. Vengodan emphasized the importance of art in life and shared insights into his cinematic journey, which inspired the audience, especially the student community. His words highlighted how art shapes individuals and contributes to holistic education.
The formal session was chaired by the Principal, Dr. C.V. Jayasree, who also presented the college annual report, detailing the institution’s achievements over the academic year. The College Union report was presented by the Fine Arts Secretary, highlighting the various student activities and accomplishments.
The celebration also included the distribution of certificates and awards. The honors were presented by the Chief Guest, Principal Dr. C.V. Jayasree, Mr. Ahammed Kutty Master (Manager), and Mr. Abdulla Master. Awards were distributed to the winners of the University Arts Festival, recognizing their talents and achievements.
A special moment of the event was the presentation of the Best Outgoing Student Award, which was proudly received by Ms. Hridya. Certificates were also distributed for various intercollegiate and in-house festival participations and achievements.
The event concluded with greetings and felicitation speeches delivered by Mr. Ahammedkutty Master, Mr. Abdulla Master, and Mr. George Joseph, who appreciated the efforts of the students and staff in organizing such a vibrant event.
The celebration was a grand success, marked by enthusiasm, cultural vibrancy, and acknowledgment of student excellence.
